Our SAP Implementation methodology framework consists of five phases of implementation; each phase of the roadmap provides detailed plans to assist in documentation, recommendations, and implementation of SAP systems. Each phase of the process ends with a quality check that helps monitor the deliverables and other factors of critical success. Below is a brief description of each phase of the SAP Implementation methodology roadmap

The SAP Activate methodology focuses on an agile/lean approach, whereas the ASAP methodology was a rigid/waterfall implementation. The guided configuration offers a set of tools that facilitates updates and modifications to your configurations. SAP Activate is a methodology used to perform SAP S/4HANA implementations. It allows for a speedy system deployment and applies principles that enable an organization to adopt new capabilities. ASAP Methodology is often known as “Accelerated SAP” is a standard SAP related Project preparation and implementation method. Using this process, i.e. ASAP methodology, project management provides a roadmap for effectively optimizing the implementation of SAP systems in the business processes.

SAP Activate methodology supports the four phases of your implementation or migration project:: prepare, explore, realize, and deploy. Value delivery and quality checks help ensure that the solution, as implemented, delivers the value you expect. It builds on three components — SAP Best Practices, Guided Configuration and Methodology.

ASAP Methodology is a standard SAP related project preparation and systems implementation method, developed and updated by consultants that are involved in implementing SAP software products.The ASAP methodology prescribes a correct pathway for SAP implementation projects. It consists of six steps, the six major phases of SAP implementation: Pre-sales, Preparation, Business Blueprint, Realization, Going Live, and Post-Production.

Project Preparation
- Identify and plan the primary focus areas
- Goal Setting - Define project goals & objectives
- Implementation Strategy - Clarify the scope of implementation and establish the project organization and relevant committees and assign resources
- Implementation Sequence - Define the sequence of project implementation
- Team - Establish the team — committees, teams (core, project and consulting)
- Sign Off – Document all the steps at the end of phase and signed off with the client
Business Blueprint
- Create the Business Blueprint, which is detailed documentation of the results gathered during requirements workshops and documents the business process requirements of the company to achieve a common understanding of how the company intends to run SAP to support their business
- Scope Document - This document consists of questionnaire of entire business process
- AS IS – Understanding of the business Process from the core team and create module-wise ASIS document based on the input
- TO BE - Map the business process in SAP based on ASIS and create module-wise TOBE document
- Gap Analysis – Analysis of the GAP between ASIS process and TOBE process where the inputs or the business process which can’t mapped into standard SAP and create the gap analysis document
- Sign Off – Get the sign off from the client on all the documents created during the phase
Realization
- Implement business and process requirements based on the Business Blueprint
- System Configuration Methodology - Provide system configuration methodology in two work packages: Baseline (major scope); and Final configuration (remaining scope)
- Baseline – Define system configuration for major scope
- Final Configuration – Define system configuration for remaining scope
- Sign Off – Get the sign off from the client on all the documents created during the phase
Final Preparation
- Unit Testing - Testing within each module
- Integration Testing - Integrate testing of modules i.e. combine testing of all the modules
